Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Switch (played via Switch 2 BC) Does it play offline? Yes Does it require a download? Yes The game suffers from a game-breaking crashing issue when switching party members. Interestingly, Nintendo does not force you to update unlike with other titles.

Atomfall PS5 Does it play offline? Yes Does it require a download? Yes Sadly, a game-breaking bug (also present on other platforms, it seems) can lock you out of several questlines or cost you hours of progress once your save file is affected. More on our website.

For everyone claiming Mario Wonder ran badly and that's why Nintendo should be allowed to take access away from your legally bought goods: We played it on older SW2 firmware. First 4 levels at least. Couldn't find any issues. Not a pixel wrong with it.

Nintendo crossed a line. Our findings show, they have the power to retroactively block legally bought physical games from working without updates AND THEY DID SO! Multiple times. Following the introduction of Trojan Horse "game-key card", this is another attack on physical media.
