Accursed Farms
@accursedfarms
This is the official twitter for Accursed Farms. If you're an EU citizen, sign the initiative to stop videogames being destroyed! http://stopkillinggames.com
WEAK I know Anthem got panned, but it's another example of one that seems like it had a cool looking world to run around in. I was interested in trying it out and keeping my expectations low. Yet another example of why SKG is so needed. ea.com/games/anthem/n…
The initiative has received official accusations of it (and myself) of violating EU rules! These would be serious charges, except that they’re false, using made up evidence. This industry is playing hardball now! youtu.be/fQN_ZA5WRpo
We have cleared 1.4 million signatures! I think this means the initiative is all but certain to proceed to the EU Commission. I think the only scenario it won't will be if we had botnet spoofing on a large scale earlier, so more people signing still helps. eci.ec.europa.eu/045/public/#/s…
I'm cancelling the usual videochat this month since I'm so busy on the campaign, it will resume next month. I'll have some more Stop Killing Games news in the near future.
I'm surprised, The CEO of Ubisoft has responded to SKG. I think he might be purposefully acting ignorant talking about endless support; it's easier for the industry to pretend they don't understand the demand than acknowledge the problem + the solution. gamesradar.com/games/racing/u…

There's a report of another MEP supporting Stop Killing Games, Kathleen Van Brempt. The more, the better! Translation below: reddit.com/r/StopKillingG…
The signing for the UK government petition is over! It's anyone's guess how long it will take before Parliament looks at it, it could be a while. In the meantime, UK citizens can still contact MPs to support it: parliament.uk/get-involved/c…
Tomorrow is the last day for signing the UK petition. I think we have a safe margin to get it sent to Parliament, but more signatures will give it more attention. UK citizens can still email MPs to support it after the 14th also. parliament.uk/get-involved/c… petition.parliament.uk/petitions/7020…
Nicolae Ștefănuță, a Vice President of the European Parliament, has voiced his full support for Stop Killing Games He signed the petition himself and urged other Europeans to do the same
I'll be having an appearance with Guild Wars 2 streamer MightyTeapot today at noon UTC. I'm told a developer supportive of SKG will be appearing then also. twitch.tv/mightyteapot
People involved with SKG have organized a Game Jam starting today, sure, why not. Personally, I never liked that name, since a music jam is a chill thing, but game jams look like crunch sessions to me. I guess that's prep for a lot of the industry. itch.io/jam/stop-killi…
The initiative now has 1.3 million signatures! I think for most initiatives we would be safe, but since this one is unconventional and we still don't have data on how many are real or not, that can't be assumed. Friends & family in the EU can sign also! eci.ec.europa.eu/045/public/#/s…
BeamNG is a member of @videogames_EU . VGE didn't ask BeamNG concerning their response to stopkillinggames.com . As far i know there wasn't a vote on this too. We do NOT agree with their statement, this is not how a representative group should be behaving.
The EU initiative has crossed 1.25 million signatures! I think 250k is the current record for invalid signatures thrown out on other initiatives, so we MIGHT be safe, but I could see us breaking that record also. The more margin we get, the better! eci.ec.europa.eu/045/public/#/s…
The industry is lobbying against Stop Killing Games! I think we're stirring up the hive. youtube.com/watch?v=z5Ay_a…
I had an appearance on "Impact Theory" talking about Stop Killing Games. Appearances like these I think are helpful since it's more of a general talk show coverage and might reach new demographics. youtube.com/watch?v=jNzVTO…
If anyone doubts how powerful the EU initiative can be, Video Games Europe, an industry lobbying group, has unsurprisingly come out against SKG. The arguments against allowing you to keep your purchase are flimsy. I'll have a video on it in a day or two. videogameseurope.eu/news/statement…
I was given some stats about previous EU initiatives that passed and how many signatures were discarded. It looks like the low end was about 100k and the high end was about 250k. I suspect we'll be closer to the high end, so every legit signature helps.
To anyone who made a mistake or isn't sure if they signed the EU initiative already, you can contact the official spokesperson (Daniel Ondruska) and he can direct you on how to reach the EU to sort it out. His contact is on the page under "more info" eci.ec.europa.eu/045/public/#/s…
