No Demolition Without Permission! The Mayor must make it mandatory that councils use BALLOTS to let all estate residents decide on the future of their homes
From 2018 our response to estate ballots and our concerns - the reality is actually a lot worse than any of us could have imagined. Just because you live on a council estate your access to equal & fair democratic processes are denied. All we ask for is a level playing field 😔
This is our briefing & response to @SadiqKhan regarding the proposals on estate ballots put forward in July. We welcome the general principle that estate demolitions shouldn’t happen unless residents have voted in favour of them. But there are aspects of the policy that worry us
TfL this week agreed to cut buses in SE London serving thousands of new homes in a move fully supported by Greenwich Council. The move also reduces buses calling at a school, forthcoming college + places of employment How out of touch are they? Do they want to lose elections?
