We are a family owned farm in California's fertile Central Valley where the soil and climate are the best for growing delicious organic melons.🍈🍉🍒
Today is #NationalVanillaIceCreamDay! Have you ever tried vanilla ice cream in a cantaloupe bowl?

The red pistachios were grown in Iran, and were dyed red to hide dark blemishes. They had blemishes because Iran had poor processing facilities. Today, pistachios are grown in CA with modern facilities that produce nuts in their natural color. No dyes needed!
What ever happened to these?!🤷🏻♂️🤔🤔🤔
For purple mountain majesties Above the fruited plain! America! America! God shed his grace on thee Happy Fourth, America!

If you shop at @Publix Super Markets, these sweeties are coming your way! Organic cantaloupes and honeydews. From our sunny California farm. We pick them vine-ripened all summer.

What I see when I walk the fields. This is how much our organic processing tomatoes have grown in the past 5 weeks. The beds are 80” wide, and they are irrigated by buried drip tape. They are still about 6 weeks from harvest. #CAgrown @CCOForganic @DelBosqueFarms
Jim Boren @jboren4507 retired editor of the Fresno Bee, worked a summer in the 1960’s picking cantaloupes in the San Joaquin Valley. Learn about his experiences as an American working in the fields. #farmworker Source: San Francisco Chronicle share.google/e8MiJDdFLLnNGB…
Galia. Melon of the week. We have begun picking galia melons. Developed in Israel by the melon breeder Dr. Zvi Karchi, the Galia melon was named after Karchi's daughter, whose name means "God's wave" in Hebrew. #CAgrown

Teaching kids where their food comes from.
Yesterday we presented our version of Ag in the classroom at Miano School in Los Banos. Students learned how we grow melons organically and the challenges we face. Each student got to take a seedling melon plant to grow at home. @LearnAboutAg

We appreciate this additional increase in our allocation, but it may be too late to utilize it in this crop year, as planting intentions are finalized. Hopefully we can carry over any unused water into 2026.
Reclamation announces another increase in 2025 #CentralValleyProject water supply allocations. While all north-of-Delta CVP contractors are at 100%, south-of-Delta ag contractors are increased to 55% from 50%, and M&I are increased to 80% from 75%. ow.ly/v6ct50VZwQe
Tomato update. They’re fruiting! To be clear, tomatoes are fruit! Did you know that California produces 96% of all tomatoes 🍅 in the US? #tomatoes #organic #canning #sauces #salsas

We’ve repurposed old cotton trailers into mobile break rooms for our field workers. They provide shade and seating to rest and eat their lunch. This is especially important in our hot summers. Safety is a priority at @DelBosqueFarms. #farmworkers #safety #farms
Farmers, be prepared to protect your workers for this early heat wave. Water, shade, rest breaks, and heat illness prevention training. Keep your people safe! Call @AgSafeOnline for resources.
A period of notable--and possibly record-breaking--heat is now expected across much of northern CA, southern OR, and portions of northern Fri-Sat. Temps could reach ~110F in portions of Central Valley, and some all-time May records may be at risk. #CAwx #CAfire #CAwater
On #WorldBeeDay, we feature our hardworking #honeybees that #pollinate our #crops that produce #healthy #food for you. These crops would not be possible without bees. #almonds #cherries #melons #fruit #nuts #veggies #farming #agriculture

Heat hurts cherry crop. “The reason plants produce flowers is because they are reproducing themselves, but when a tree is under stress, it comes down to the tree surviving or producing offspring,” Ray Mireles @ucanr told @FresnoBeeBob @FresnoBee fresnobee.com/news/local/art…
Good morning! I’m out walking fields, and stopped to see our workers. They’re very busy working! @ProjectApism #bees #pollinators #honeybees
Good morning! We’re cultivating processing tomatoes today in Merced County. DYK that California produces 95% of all the processing tomatoes in the US?
