I didn't know that having sex with your girlfriend, repenting of that sin, then years later becoming a pastor, meant that someone was disqualified from ever being an elder. Paul was literally rounding up Christians so that he could murder them, prior to becoming an Apostle.
He abandoned his wife and children. She divorced him for abandonment, and he had nothing to do with any of them for the rest of his life. The divorce was going on while he was being installed as a pastor, and he remarried once the divorce was final.
By this logic, God was a bad leader of Ancient Israel.
