Norm is doing ok 🤞 I think I’m more upset than him. Eating, getting around, pooping 💩 The foot swelling has gone down 🐾 I’m giving gabapentin so he’s extra calm n hopefully in no pain 🥺 He’s such a good boy 😻
Ok it’s not a hematoma but a pocket of blood. A vein or artery is filling it back up. The vet pressure taped it hoping it will clot the blood supply. Bad place for a drain or surgery. 😓 we go back Sat to be checked and re-bandaged. Norm was very good 😻 Thanks for helping him 🤗

Monday we will try to find the vein that is leaking n splint the leg to heal. Not a lot of skin to close the wound so I will have to do bandage changes. If they can’t clamp the vein, they may amputate his leg 😥 Est for surgery $600-$800 🙀

😩 Norm’s foot swelled up. I had to take the bandage wrap off. He didn’t bleed thru the gauze so that’s good but the (for lack of a better word) bubble filled back up 🥺 I rewrapped it loosely 🤞 aw geez 😮💨😮💨

🙀 Last night I came home to blood on the counter. Norm has a hematoma that I’ve been trying to drain over the past few months but it won’t absorb/heal 🙁 Got a bit out yesterday but it filled back up then opened n closed again. We’re going in at 12:20. Any help would b great 🙏

Furbaby community i need some help! 🥺 I saved a pigeon that seems to have an injured wing. I have him in a box with food and water at the moment. Trying to find a pigeon rescue that can help. I'm in the NYC area. If anyone knows of someone that can help please let me know 🙏🥺
