I struggle sometimes with recommending people go to therapy these days unless I can help them find a good one, but I want people looking for therapy to at least know what is "normal bad" vs "worse than normal." Proper expectations can save lives. daystareld.com/the-bad-therap…
Kudos for trying to reclaim the word "patriarchy," I guess? Labels aside, I agree much more than disagree. Young men are drastically in need of non-toxic role models. Without them, inceldom/The Red Pill have an uncontested field in transmuting pain and confusion into misogyny.

Big-name actors sometimes have so much starpower they can "force" rewrites of scripts. Dunno what the balance of power was on the GoT set, but if ever society needed actors to go "prima donna," it was then. I think together, Peter, Emilia and Kit could've gotten D&D replaced.

I think I more commonly see anti-capitalist people describing some form of crony-capitalism, rent seeking, price collusion, or straight up corruption. But it is often these things too, yeah.
Usually when I see someone saying something awful is capitalism they are describing something that 1) is genuinely awful 2) is a consequence of material scarcity and 3) has gotten much much less bad under capitalism
