Great to hold a coffee morning in the Marlowes Shopping Centre's Dementia Cafe☕ Huge thanks to Humphrey and the centre’s team for their fantastic community support, especially their Alzheimer's coffee morning for dementia support on the first Wednesday of every month.

The horror in Gaza must end. We're stepping up our humanitarian efforts with new healthcare, food and water for Gazans. We need an immediate ceasefire now, the release of all hostages and a surge in aid.
Yesterday we managed to make it to a Convoy recognition event organised by @DavidTaylor85 At the UK Houses of Parliament. It was good to see so many volunteers from many organisations and people we have been helping for over three years now. We will win together, for freedom,…
Ukrainian culture was front and centre in the Houses of Parliament yesterday courtesy of a gratitude event held by MP @DavidTaylor85 and team. Multiple UK groups were brought together in one room to discuss past, present and future steps in helping Ukraine.
The appalling scenes in Gaza are unrelenting. The UK will pull every lever we have to get food and lifesaving support to Palestinians, and we will evacuate children who need urgent medical assistance. This humanitarian catastrophe must end.
Do not forget that the Corbynites failed the victims of Assad’s horror, says Labour MP thejc.com/news/politics/…
I share the profound horror at the scale of human suffering unfolding in Gaza. The starvation and desperation we are witnessing is beyond harrowing.
The suffering and starvation unfolding in Gaza is unspeakable and indefensible.
What a performance, @Lionesses! Into the final and inspiring the nation Let’s bring it home.
There is no place for racism in football or anywhere in society. I stand with Jess, the Lionesses, and any players who have suffered racism, on and off the pitch.
We stand with Jess, and all #Lionesses players past and present who have suffered racism. A message from the squad:
Worried HR are a bit too close with your boss? Join a union.
Farage plays the everyman, but he’s not harmless, he’s not honest, and he’s not on your side. ❌
If a politician doesn’t know the answer to a question, they should be honest and say so. If a politician doesn’t know the answer to pretty much anything they’re asked, they shouldn’t be in politics.
No idea. No answers.
Delivery of a first convoy of aid to As-Sweida from the Syrian Arab Red Crescent - including supplies from the UN - is a welcome and desperately needed first step, but much more relief is needed. Our teams in country and HQ are mobilised to move as much as we can.
🚨 The @SYRedCrescent has dispatched a convoy to #Sweida, delivering much needed #humanitarian assistance to families and critical supplies to maintain essential services such as hospitals, bakeries, and access to drinking water. #SweidaAndDaraaResponse
Reports suggest hostilities have ended in #Suwayda, as tribal forces withdrew from the city per ceasefire conditions. The humanitarian crisis is appalling. A large aid convoy (coordinated by govt & SARC) is now in #Daraa waiting to enter. Calm heads *desperately* needed now.
Horrified by the violence in Southern Syria. A sustainable ceasefire is vital. I spoke to Syrian Foreign Minister @AsaadHshaibani yesterday as part of UK efforts to urge a peaceful resolution. We want to see the fighting ended, civilians protected and humanitarian access…
As some MPs on the left defend Abbott, Labour MP @DavidTaylor85 tells me: “I’ve long thought Diane Abbott shouldn't be a member of our Party due to her appalling positions on everything from Bosnia to Syria. “As the Jewish Labour Movement have said, antisemitism targets Jews…
Antisemitism is anti-Jewish racism. It targets Jews regardless of how they look, and many of our community are visibly Jewish and suffer racism for it. 1/2
An absolute honour to meet these guys today @culturalforces Ukraine will not be beaten, but it still needs help @copsforukraine thanks to @DavidTaylor85 for putting this together today 👍🇺🇦
The Syrian British Consortium calls for the protection of civilians and preservation of civil peace in Suwayda and across Syria. A unified, just Syria can only be built on rule of law, equality, and rejection of all forms of violence and sectarianism.
Alarmed by escalating scenes in Syria. We want to see civilians protected and the ceasefire upheld, with those responsible for violence in Suwayda held to account. Israel's attacks in Damascus risks destabilising the country. Syria's sovereignty must be respected.
