Spotted this bug in #DC? It’s the invasive #SpottedLanternfly! It feeds on 70+ trees & plants, harming gardens & leaving behind sticky honeydew that attracts stinging bugs. If you see one at any life stage—even eggs— get a pic, squash it & report it at 🔗tree.dc.gov.

Here's an easy tip to help improve #AirQuality: wait until after dusk to fill your gas tank. @CleanAirPartner tells us that when fuel vapors are heated in the midday sun, they can create harmful ground-level #ozone. Refueling once the sun goes down minimizes that risk.🌃⛽️
