We have reports of numerous roads closed due to high water on the north side of the DC Metro where rainfall totals have exceeded 3" in an hour. Remember, if you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around, don't drown!

A Flood Watch has been added for much of the D.C. metro area until 10 PM. A west-east oriented boundary continues to be the focus of very heavy rainfall and frequent lightning. Flash Flood Warnings will be issued where the threat is imminent. #DCwx #MDwx #VAwx
