I introduced the CDPAP Accountability Act (S1189) in September 2024 as a reasonable alternative to the transition to a single statewide fiscal intermediary. The goal was to prevent disruptions...1/2

So what’s CDPAP? Funded by Medicaid, CDPAP allows people with disabilities or care needs to choose a personal assistant (who can be a family member) to help care for them. 2/2

Change is never easy, but what’s happening with this transition is just unacceptable. PPL has not shown they can manage the scale of CDPAP statewide. The legislature must step in to ensure continuity of care & safeguard both workers and consumers as we chart a better path forward
