Several more of my bills have passed in the Assembly! As we near the end of the legislative session in Albany, I continue to work hard to pass legislation that matters to New Yorkers. 💪

I'm so proud to have passed this bill which requires law enforcement officers to take temporary custody of firearms when responding to family violence incidents - a critical step towards protecting domestic violence survivors and preventing deadly escalation.

We're grateful to @AmyPaulin for putting people over plastic in New York by co-sponsoring A1749, the Packaging Reduction & Recycling Infrastructure Act to reduce single-use packaging by 30%. @CarlHeastieNY, please bring this bill to the floor for a vote.
