Far too little far too late!
Aid organizations report that thousands of children in Gaza are at risk of starvation while trucks full of food sit waiting across the border. The full flow of humanitarian assistance must be restored immediately. news.un.org/en/story/2025/…
Government should introduce a weight based tax for SUVs. If you can afford 80-100k for an Audi Q7 PHEV or similar, you should not be able to tax such an unnecessarily big and dangerous car for €170. A Toyota Corolla hybrid costs €190 to tax. Where’s the fairness in that?

You what is a waste of money? Charging someone €75 because their hand luggage won’t fit in a ridiculous undersized bracket!!

This morning @ivanabacik comments frankly on the OPT Bill, she believes that "when we see 58,000 civilians murdered in Gaza – we have a moral and legal imperative to do this" #MacGill25 @labour
What a dreadful way to view the world
Danny McCoy, CEO of @ibec_irl, at #MacGill25: “You can be poor and popular, rich and responsible — but not rich and popular. Ireland’s foreign policy is damaging us because it’s hypocritical. We’ve taken the riches; now we have to accept the responsibilities.”
I love when Irish influencers blag free stays in random rural hotels with terrible names and have to be like, “Come with me as I spend the night in the stunning Ballyspud Manor 🥰”
Incredibly brave and moving speech from Minister @MaryButlerTD in the Dáil tonight. 🏳️🌈
Three times in the Dáil, the Taoiseach suggested some sort of a conspiracy with #GAAforPalestine but would not give any further details 🤷♂️

This is a bad idea and will not result in more supply. It is being done by FF and FG at the behest of big property developers and institutional investors. Anyone who tells you this will work (when it didn’t before) is codding you. #howirelandworks
