Culture is NOT a saying or statement posted on your locker room, or weight room wall (or a slogan you slap on a t-shirt), and refer to when it’s “convenient”. It is a living/breathing organism that’s GOT to be nourished and poured into DAILY!
What’s a coaching opinion you have that would have people like this?
The SAID Principle: - Specific - Adaptation - to Imposed - Demands The body will improve at what you ask it to do consistently Make sure your training is tailored accordingly
The argument that a child’s home life is, by default, abusive and that the government education institutions are paragons of virtue and safety is one of the most pernicious of the statist’s claims.
The #1 goal in Strength & Conditioning is to keep athletes healthy, fresh, and available Are you seeing these things? ✅ Reduce injury rates ✅ Feeling good, mobile ✅ Fresh on game day If so, you’re running a great program
#4 🎯🎯🎯
If you want to get faster — 1) Sprint & Plyo work 2-3x/wk 2) Get a good lift in after sprinting 3) Honor your recovery days between 4) Stop doing more for the sake of doing more 5) Make lifestyle decisions that support your goals It really is that simple.
And use the data for something!!! Collecting it just because is pointless. Use it to adapt your training for your athletes. Your data should either prove your methodology or help you find tweaks. It’s not just to post on a board somewhere.
My answer to all the data to look at? Look at 2-3 simple things that are easily tracked and you know effect performance positively. Maybe add one thing at a time if it fits after that. Don't get too consumed. A lot of it doesn't matter as much as you think.
Your culture is defined by the worst behavior you're willing to tolerate. Not your values on the wall. Not your mission statement. Not your good intentions. It's the small compromises. The little rationalizations. The "just this one time" that becomes every time.
The teachers union is a money laundering operation for the Democratic Party. Revoke their federal charter.
Congress has ZERO business continuing to endorse the DNC slush fund known as the National Education Association. Revoke the NEA charter. Put students first. Take back education.
I had a great time at the university of Wisconsin river falls!! Thank you @coach_crabbUWRF for the invite.
✅ GENIUS ACT SIGNED INTO LAW "The GENIUS Act creates a clear and simple regulatory framework to establish & unleash the immense promise of dollar-backed stablecoins. This could be perhaps the GREATEST revolution in financial technology since the birth of the internet itself."
The last major financial regulation bill was passed 15 years ago in response to the 2008 financial crisis. Tomorrow, the signing of the GENIUS Act cements the US’s future in being a leader in truly innovative financial technology – stablecoins. This moment is a historic one, and…
The GENIUS Act passed 308-122.

This isn’t talked about enough…
“We should be aghast that the average elementary school student only gets 27 minutes of recess a day. In maximum security federal prisons in the US, inmates are guaranteed 2 hours of outdoor time per day.”
Episode 1 of the Gameday Ready podcast is officially in pre-production, guests booked, host hyped…stay tuned.

Not enough people talk about how hard it is to start over. Especially when you’re older. You have assets. A reputation of some kind. A set of skills. An identity largely informed by your work. Making the climb, eating glass, going 0 to 1 again. Not impossible. But hard.
