⁉️Have you watched our new @Eir_OOS video yet? 💬There's great footage from the @MarineInst #AIMSIR surveys of the M6 data buoy deployment which supports @MetEireann forecasting and provides data for sea safety. 📽️youtube.com/watch?v=3JRhgb…
We have a brand new video showing EirOOS activity with footage from our AIMSIR surveys. These infrastructure are vital for #oceanobs Click the link to watch👇 youtube.com/watch?v=3JRhgb…
Our third and final Scientists at Sea blog from #CE25007 is live! Eva writes about our CTD casts and the chemistry done on the survey @MarineInst scientistsatsea.blogspot.com/2025/06/ocean-…

Are you interested in finding out what we got up to while we were at sea for 3 weeks on #CE25007? Have a read of our Scientists@Sea blog 1 that Eva & I wrote- our first 3 days were filled with training on LanderPick. scientistsatsea.blogspot.com @MarineInst @Eir_OOS @RVMarineInst

Only a few days left of the survey, enjoying the last few days of these sunsets, especially with the M6 on board😍 the 4pm-4am shift has its perks. @Eir_OOS @MarineInst @RVMarineInst

Beautiful sighting of a pod of pilot whales and a few calf’s passing close by while we were doing our deepest CTD cast in the Iceland Basin on the Rockall Trough transect!! #ce25007

The yearly swap out of the South Rockall Trough Deep-sea Mooring was successful on the #CE25007 survey. Another year of ADCP and CTD data will be available to add to this existing dataset!
New Vs. Old The M6 #IMDBON @MarineInst data buoy was successfully swapped out on the #CE25007 survey. This buoy will be out for 1 year providing essential data for @MetEireann along with 3 subsurface CTD microCATs to 750m depth for #oceanops
We’re enjoying the rare days of sunshine on deck during the #CE25007 survey and gave a short intro to @MarineInst M6 #IMDBON buoy to 3 students on board. Doreen will use data from M6 & South Rockall Mooring for her MSc project Zdenek, our technician, shows them the CTD in hull.

Looking forward to these sunsets for the next few weeks 😍 a wonderful end to a very successful first day of #CE25007 @MarineInst @RVMarineInst @Eir_OOS
