This is really significant. A cross-party committee of TDs & Senators, Govt & opposition, spent weeks scrutinising the OTB in detail and hearing from experts. They've said clearly: services must be in. Hugely important support and a strong message to Govt - time #PassTheOTB.

‘[Our daughters] are very weak, they’re thin. They can’t think due to malnutrition.’ Moving piece by @sallyhayd who spoke to Palestinian labourers supported by our partner PARC who've been unable to return home to their families in Gaza since Oct 7th. irishtimes.com/world/middle-e…

The attack on Dier al-Balah is contributing to the famine unfolding in Gaza. More than 150 farmers were forced to abandon around 250 acres of farm land. This was one of the remaining places in Gaza able to produce fresh fruit & vegetables, feeding thousands via community kitchens
Israel’s evacuation notice for Deir al-Balah is catastrophic for an already beleaguered population trying to stave off hunger and malnutrition.
Eyebrow raise at the question aside - of course Govt should consider the consequences of its policies, that's exactly why we're in Ctte - and the unsurprising finding that many agree, it's great to see only 10% opposed. The US Republican view is a firm minority in Ireland. 1/🧵
Occupied Territories Bill: Irish voters grow more cautious, poll shows irishtimes.com/politics/2025/…
There has been a lot of misinformation in the media about the Occupied Territories Bill in recent days. Here Christian Aid's @conoraon spells out to @RTE_PrimeTime that the bill is solely focused on ending trade with illegal Israeli settlements on occupied Palestinian land
The Israeli Government, US Republicans and the business lobby have lined up to attack the Occupied Territories Bill this week. What should we do? I’ll be on @RTE_PrimeTime this evening to speak about the urgent need to #PassTheOTB - tune in! 🇵🇸
