The #Mariners send two prospects (and former Modesto Nuts) to Arizona in exchange for Josh Naylor. Garcia was with Modesto in '23 and made his MLB debut Monday. Izzi played in High-A Everett this season and was the Nuts ace in '24, helping the team win a second straight title.
Left-hander Brandyn Garcia and right-hander Ashton Izzi are headed back to the Arizona Diamondbacks from the Seattle Mariners for first baseman Josh Naylor, sources tell ESPN. That's the full trade. And so begins deadline season. Buckle up.
