June is Pet Preparedness month! Ironheart encourages all pet owners to: -Include your pets in your emergency plans -Build a separate emergency kit -Make sure and keep digital records and/or pictures to identify your pet -Create a list of places that accept pets in an emergency
Keep pets safe: -Limit outdoor walks or playtime -Keep windows closed -Use air conditioning or air purifiers if available -Watch for signs of respiratory distress; especially in flat-faced breeds, seniors, or pets with health conditions Let’s keep our pets (and ourselves) safe!
