Pastor, husband & father of 4. God's word is true. The gospel is sweet. Christ is altogether lovely. In Nomine Patris et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti, Amen.
Important warning but I have one message for @freyaindiaa that increase better in person interaction: she should pursue modesty.🫣
America, @freyaindiaa is brilliant. She courageous sums up the tragedy of raising GenZ and GenAlpha in a digital world.
What was the meaning of circumcision in the Abrahamic covenant? Remember the context in which circumcision was instituted: right after Abraham tried to produce the promised seed in his own strength with Hagar. The sequence of Gen. 15-16-17 is critical. Abraham is given the…
A question to you Baptists
Here's a way to summarize the historical issues the Baptist faces if he wants to argue the apostolic and early church practiced professor's baptism only: 1. He has to explain why discontinuity in the NT did not create a controversy. Children had always been included in God's…
So much wisdom from @douglaswils here... - Husbands/fathers should protect those in their charge... Men, don't be the person your women need protection from! - Wives/young women, should take responsibility & pursue modesty 40 minutes of edifying gold! youtube.com/watch?v=Rhx41b…
Such a huge problem for the Church of Christ at the moment.
I don’t think the problem is so much that women’s standards for men are too high, but that many women refuse to apply any sort of standard to themselves whatsoever. Men always need to do better and women are always perfect the way they are. This thinking is the problem.
What do Thomas Aquinas, St. Bonaventure, and Bernard of Clairvaux all have in common? They were all opposed to the doctrine of the Immaculate Conception of Mary.
What if we've never been told the full story about the historic origins of Muhammad, Mecca, & the Qur'an? In this episode, Dr. Jay Smith returns to expose the shocking lack of historical evidence for Islam. #DrFrankTurekPodcast
What does love look like? It has the hands to help others. It has the feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has eyes to see misery and want. It has the ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men. That is what love looks like. - St. Augustine of Hippo
RFK: "The polio vaccine contained a virus called SV40" "It's one of the most carcinogenic materials that is known to man." "But it was in that vaccine. 98 million people... in my generation got it." "And now you've had this explosion of soft tissue cancers in our generation…
Preachers need to preach the extremes. (HT: Rob Rayburn) When preaching free grace, make it as radically free as you can make it. Make grace amazing, astonishing, marvelous. Pour on the love and mercy. Give them comfort and consolation. Give them peace and assurance. When…
I've been traveling and visited a few churches across denominations. A common thread was basically un-singable music. Many have traded a rich history of congregational Psalms and hymns for some dreadfully bad K-love cheese led by a woman who seems hungry for attention.
A Christian should be willing to forgive and thus should resist bitterness. But for forgiveness to actually be transacted, there has to be repentance.
History’s greatest woman didn’t change the world through power, wealth, or ambition, but through a yes to becoming a mother.
Imagine that this was said back in early 20th Century... What a prophet and how prescient.

A challenge to all church musicians.
We need contemporary worship, but most of today’s contemporary worship music is shaped less by the Psalter and the great music of the historic church triumphant, and more by Coldplay’s “Fix You”, U2, and Phoebe Bridgers.
Brilliant by @ScottAniol on Marriage/Lord's Day worship.

The perennial Baptism problem - wanting an explicit verse for everything... And yes, we still ❤️ Pastor MacArthur...
John MacArthur criticizes the Reformers on infant baptism: "You would have thought that if one of the great hallmarks of the Reformation was Sola Scriptura, they would have set aside infant baptism since it wasn't anywhere in the Bible."
