Congratulations to 2 members of our caucus who take their support for transit seriously! Proud that this was one of our priority bills. #BetterBuses
Taking the @mtamaryland CL Yellow this morning & catching up on everything the MD General Assembly passed last night. We now have authorization to use automatic enforcement for dedicated bus lanes statewide! Thanks for your leadership @RobbynLewis46th & @SenArianaKelly!
Our statement in support of the recent Budget Reconciliation & Financing Act actions to fully fund our transportation commitments. This bipartisan vote is a great 1st step to ensuring every corner of the state gets the transit & transportation support they need. #LetsGetMoving

This October, join us in recognizing National Pedestrian Safety Month, which highlights everyone’s right to walk or roll safely on the nation’s pathways. Join @USDOT’s “call to action” campaign supporting the agency’s National Roadway Safety Strategy. bit.ly/46ExKsN
Thank you @SenatorMcCray for your advocacy to make this Baltimore City street safer for pedestrians!
October is Pedestrian Safety Month, & we're excited to highlight our partnership with Parks & Peoples & Baltimore City DOT to improve safety for young scholars at Ralph Sears Fields In 2018, Mr. Johnny, a neighboring resident, voiced concerns about student safety.
Thank you Transit Caucus member @delegatebmn for spreading the joy of walking to the next generation!
During this Pedestrian Safety Month, my daughter asked to be a walker for school. She loves a nature walk and the time was a great way for her and I to support pedestrian safety! #ThisIsPedestrianSafety
Today, the Maryland Transit Caucus is celebrating #WalkToSchoolDay. We believe that every Marylander should have access to a variety of safe and reliable mobility options, including students and families who walk to school. Happy walking!

In recognition of October as Pedestrian Safety Month, the Maryland Transit Caucus encourages you to share a photo of a pedestrian safety project in your area. Be sure to include the town/city, as we'll be retweeting examples of #ThisIsPedestrianSafety from across the state!

Safe, accessible, reliable, and affordable public transit should be a cornerstone of Maryland's transportation system. The Transit Caucus worked hard this session to further this goal; 5 out of 5 priority bills passed the General Assembly & are on the Governor's desk. #working4MD
