What if the world of Xenoblade Chronicles X is post Xenoblade Chronicles 1-3 and Xenosaga is pre Xenoblade Chronicles 1-3 and we get both at the same time? Since Monolith Soft would be working on Xenoblade Chronicles X path and Bandai Namco would be working on Xenosaga path.
I think and this is definitely a tin foil hat theory, Nintendo was waiting to see if Donkey Kong Bananza reviews had GOTY potential and if it does not then they will release a 3d Mario game this year

I got no problem purchasing a game key card for a game I want, although I may just buy digital more likely but my fear is down the line they may cave and release a all on card physical card version, after I already purchased the Game Key Card edition or bought the game digitally

I wasn’t plugged into social media during Iwatas time but I definitely am now and have read the book Iwata Says and watched the old directs and he truly was someone amazing & from what I understand a great person with an amazing vision, loved my Wii U during, & especially Switch!

Maybe Nintendo wants to prove a point that they don’t need games media to sell their sold out system, especially when 99% of that media reported on hardware leaks, and they are punishing people that put their bottom line ahead of Nintendo and continually reported misinformation
Don't know why people are celebrating this. It's not a good precedent to see set by a company nor do I believe the firmware reasoning. This is a net negative for launch day game releases that want to generate excitement/hype ahead of launch with coverage/reviews & consumers.
