A live service game like Helldivers 2 going multiplatform makes a lot of sense, as the community is what keeps the game alive. You need & want as many people as possible to be playing. Sony bringing the game to Xbox ensures an active & engaged player base.

I remember when companies would lower prices as a generation advanced. Introduce 'Nintendo Selects' to sell games for $20 and sell hardware for $99 or $119 -- with bundled software. This generation has seen hardware, online services and game prices spike. Doing the opposite.

Nintendo honoring existing contracts as Nintendo Pictures -- formerly known as Dynamo Pictures -- continues their work on the Death Stranding franchise. No. It doesn't mean Death Stranding 2 is Switch 2 bound any time soon. Let's see if 505 brings DS to Switch 2 first....

Need to learn more about what type of game modes & content this will offer. Even at $20... the price feels too high -- for me -- based on what we have seen of the game at this point. We shall see if Drag x Drive has any surprises.

When one takes a closer inspection on the 'Out Now' graphic, one will notice tire treading -- fitting for Mario Kart World marketing. These same treads are on the Prime 4 'Out Now' graphic, which cover up another layer which likely says 2025. It's an unfortunate design error.

Nintendo showed up to Summer Game Fest in a big way... with a CP2077 for Switch 2 ad. An ad being what most expected.

Shin'en are masters at what they do; but there is a ton of misunderstanding around the mention of 4k/8k Shadowmaps. Wii had HD textures. Switch 1 can load 16k textures. By doing 8k Shadowmaps, they will look detailed on 4K displays. It has nothing to do with power or output.

Negativity and toxic positivity are equally detrimental to all forms of social media gaming discourse. Blind hatred is just as bad as those who are willing to defend any & all decisions. You are simply opposite sides of the same coin. Neither brings value to a conversation.

Don't know why people are celebrating this. It's not a good precedent to see set by a company nor do I believe the firmware reasoning. This is a net negative for launch day game releases that want to generate excitement/hype ahead of launch with coverage/reviews & consumers.

It's easy... if you get an invite. The issue being the unknown of whether or not you'll get an invite to order a Switch 2 from the Nintendo Store. Plenty of people registered for an invite within minutes of registration opening & are without invites. It's not easy. It's luck.

Love how every Nintendo Switch 2 related video on Youtube this month is titled something akin to 'HUGE Switch 2 Update is SHOCKING & Will BLOW Your Mind...' And the update is that Nintendo started R&D in 2019 or random info from a month ago like CRT N64 NSO filter.

Fun Fact: I was among the Top 100 players in Ranked Warzone multiplayer mode on Xbox 360. There was nothing more rewarding than killing an entire team with a Gnasher or Torque Bow on Canals. Maybe downing an enemy on Mansion & using them as bait to kill 2 or 3 with a Boomshot.
