ICE's use of electronic monitoring has rapidly expanded. Now, more than 200,000 people on any given day are regularly surveilled & detained by ICE – over 4x as many as a decade ago.
80% of women in jails are mothers, and most of them are primary caretakers of their children. Mass incarceration has a ripple effect, causing trauma that can last generations within a single family.

THREE people died in LASD custody this Sunday, March 30th. With 15 deaths so far in 2025, we’re outpacing the last 20 years for deaths in @LASDHQ custody. @LACountyBOS is currently meeting, but they will once again not be discussing this crisis. LASD is stationed at the door.
