Brutus Hamilton, born July 19, 1900, was Cal track coach 1932-65 & first Athletic Director, 1946-55. He won Olympic Silver in decathlon in 1920, coached Olympic champions at Cal and was head coach of the 1952 US Olympic team. As AD, he hired Pappy Waldorf & Pete Newell. @CalTFXC
