Mayor Adams privately told a group of business leaders yesterday he removed ex-NYPD head Tom Donlon after he refused a mental acuity test despite allegedly being "off." Donlon's lawyer says he's now prepping a defamation suit against Adams over the matter. nydailynews.com/2025/07/18/ada…
NYS has settled a lawsuit brought by former Andrew Cuomo aide Brittany Commisso for nearly half a million dollars, according to her attorneys. Commisso’s case accused Cuomo of groping her in 2020, making sexualized remarks about her looks and other inappropriate behavior.
Mamdani takes first international trip as NYC Dem nominee to his native Uganda. As mayor-elect, Adams visited Ghana, where he said crowds awaited him. And de Blasio traveled to his ancestral homeland of Italy midway through his first year in office.
Good morning! I'm in Uganda to visit family and friends. But depending on your perspective, don't worry or I'm sorry: I'll be back by the end of the month. See you soon, NYC.
That fella is David Rem, a Trump surrogate who spoke at Trump's MSG rally in October 2024, a speech in which he waved a cruxifix around and called Kamala Harris "the antichrist." Per this report, Rem was arrested in 1992 for transporting cocaine. independent.co.uk/news/world/ame…
The gentleman from this rally is back for the law enforcement union endorsement rally of @ericadamsfornyc
Seems @JimGennaro — the first elected official to back Mayor Adams' reelection bid — un-endorsed him very late last night in a Facebook post. The reasoning? Adams never accepted the endorsement so Gennaro doesn't want to give it anymore.

New: That new anti-Zohran Mamdani reply bot, @CityDeskNYC, is run by the same 24-year-old behind @dogeai_gov. The developer tells me he hopes to sell the new bot to one of Mamdani's mayoral foes: Eric Adams, Andrew Cuomo or Curtis Sliwa. courthousenews.com/zohran-mamdani…
Brianna Suggs, Mayor Adams' longtime campaign fundraising coordinator of FBI raid infamy, is back at City Hall for a rally this afternoon where some NYPD and DOC unions are expected to endorse the mayor for reelection.

WE FIXED IT: Obviously our successful rally had an effect on @NYDailyNews management, who felt compelled to “write” an op-ed. Unfortunately it’s full of mischaracterizations and missing key facts. As journalists we couldn’t let that slide, so we got out our red pens…
Legendary street reporter Kerry Burke at our rally yesterday: “[Alden president] Heath Freeman, he listed a mansion in Montauk for $27.5 million. We’re not asking for Montauk mansion money, we’re asking for living wages.”
Mayor Adams nets his biggest fundraising haul for this election cycle yet, totaling $1,556,155. 64 employees of SL Green, a real estate firm whose CEO hosted a huge fundraiser for the mayor, donated to the campaign. nydailynews.com/2025/07/16/may…
