Chief of Staff to John Rustad, Opinions mine
Democracy is supposed to be a system for accommodating diversity of opinion. Far too often in modern Canada, diversity of opinion is viewed as a threat to "correct and acceptable" opinion, largely defined by the Central Canadian establishment. Government need to stop subsiding…
@BCConservCaucus MLA @WardStamer: #BCNDP putting BC's forestry sector on the chopping block - delays, the contradictory rules, and the constant shifting of the goalposts are putting people out of work and sending investment elsewhere westernstandard.news/bc/stamer-ndp-… #bcpoli #Kamloops…
Met with Kelly and Alicia Darwin, founders of Ryes & Shine Craft Distillery in Langford After nearly a year of regulatory delays they finally secured the approvals to open their business and are now speaking out to make it easier for other entrepreneurs to succeed It is time to…
This is spot on. As I’ve been saying, it’s fine if you don’t want to listen/believe an opposition politician, but we are simply conveying what medical professionals are telling us they are experiencing daily.
What we need is a retention strategy. Doctors and nurses in BC aren’t falling into a black hole. They are leaving because of terrible working conditions and the fundamental inability to do their jobs safely and ethically. vancouversun.com/health/issues-…
Thank You for Making Our Community Picnic a huge success! A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who came out to my annual summer event! Your smiles, laughter, and spirit made it an unforgettable day filled with great food, fun games, and wonderful conversations. Special thanks to…
Why do local NDP MLAs never stand up for their communities? Not a peep out of George Anderson on Nanaimo city hall being under siege. Reminiscent of Ravi Parmar ignoring the needs of Charleigh Pollock. It's always party first with the NDP.
A city councillor in Nanaimo, B.C., is expected to push the city to reach out to a B.C. health authority in a bid to close the overdose prevention site next to city hall. cheknews.ca/nanaimo-b-c-co…
We were happy to support @JohnRustad4BC and the @Conservative_BC today in Nanaimo.
It's so important to keep reporting. I understand how frustrating it is. But reporting and documenting will help us to bring change.
In BC, Stats Canada reports that in the last 4 yrs, shoplifting increased nearly 80% - despite shops closing & victims giving up on reporting. David Eby’s de facto decriminalization of drugs coupled with a catch & release justice system keep crime a thriving industry in BC.…
Worth noting: she’s the @BCNDP Minister of Citizens’ Services on X (which she’s leaving) and Minister of Citizen’s Services on Blue Sky. The apostrophe placement is correct here, but not over there. #bcpoli

A productive meeting today with Chief Bennett, Chief Sam, and Darrin. I’m grateful for their leadership, dedication, and all the hard work they do to advance our region and stand up for the people of Skeena. When we work together, there’s nothing we can’t achieve. I truly…
Stopped by Loaves and Fishes Community Food Bank Society in Nanaimo and was blown away by the incredible work they are doing Over 300,000 pounds of food distributed every month to families, schools and over 100 organizations across Vancouver Island Thank you to the team and…
Had a great time walking in the Bathtub Weekend parade with the Loyal Nanaimo Bathtub Society. This iconic event brings the whole community together and shows why Nanaimo is the Bathtub Racing Capital of the World. Proud to be part of such a fun and uniquely BC tradition!
I started my career in the forest industry It fed my family and built the backbone of communities across BC But under the NDP, mills are closing and families are being left behind. Forestry isn’t feeding people the way it once did It’s time to restore what’s been lost and…
We have been rationing healthcare services in BC for many years but the rationing is getting exponentially worse. We are now rationing "essential" services that used to be available in a timely manner. We are limiting access to primary care, speciality care, diagnostics,…
It’s BBQ season! John Rustad is hitting the road, travelling to every corner of this province to meet you! 🍔 Stay up to date on conservativebc.ca
The NDP healthcare crisis in #CityofPG is very alarming. 👇 “Not only would no obstetrician have meant no C-section, not only would my baby have died, but even if they were able to save my baby, there’s no way I would have made the one-hour flight.”
'Something fundamentally wrong': More disruptions hit maternity care in Kamloops, Prince George vancouversun.com/health/issues-…
Great to see so many Common Sense Conservatives at the North Island BBQ! @JohnRustad4BC @Conservative_BC
The NDP is trying to change the channel from reality - healthcare in collapse, crime and fentanyl capital of Canada, record debt and deficit and a stagnant economy. Eby has no plan. Just more old-style NDP political game playing. We need an election.
If you buy this. I’ve got a tunnel to sell you.
We’re working hard to build infrastructure that makes peoples lives better and improve our communities. The Conservatives want to cancel major projects that people need, including ones that are almost done! We can’t afford BC Conservative cuts.
Despite recriminalizing drug possession last year, the BC NDP directed prosecutors NOT to approve charges. The NDP’s de facto decriminalization is why we continue to have rampant open drug use & disorder on streets across British Columbia. The answer isn’t more relaxation of…
