@GovEvers comms. Curmudgeon. Below average cook. Dive bar™ aficionado. Deprecating jokes about me are my own.
BREAKING: I sent another letter to the Trump Administration to urge them to reverse reckless funding and staffing cuts that will hurt Wisconsin's forestry industry. This industry is critical to our state's success, and these cuts would be devastating. My full letter below ⬇️
Knowing that @GovEvers is in the top spot in Wisconsin gives me great comfort. He’s fought for our schools, healthcare and so much more against an often hostile GOP legislative majority. As I look around the country, I realize even more how fortunate we are. Thank you, Tony!
I was glad to join folks in Wausau to celebrate the replacement of their 1,000th lead service line. That's a big deal, folks! We must keep working to get lead out of our homes, schools, communities, and state for good.
EXCLUSIVE: Dan O’Donnell was wrong. (Gave Dan a wide berth on the 36-hr projection just to underscore how shitty his/your sources are 😉)
Setting an alarm for 36 hours from now so I can pop back online to tell the ‘insider’ blogs to get better sources (again)
ICYMI: @WisGOP’s leading (only?) candidate for governor just came out against providing a $325 revenue limit increase per student per year for K-12 schools.
This is a no brainer. I would sign this ASAP as Governor. wkow.com/news/republica…
Five years. Thinking about our Ben today.
We are devastated by Ben’s death, and our thoughts and prayers are with Ben’s family and friends as we all mourn the loss of an exceptional young man who was taken from us far, far too soon.

EXCLUSIVE: Many political insiders--both Democrat and Republican--expect that Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers will announce in the next 24-36 hours that he will not run for a third term in 2026.
Every pothole filled, road improved, and bridge reconstructed makes Wisconsinites’ lives a little better and a whole lot safer. I’m glad our bipartisan budget invests $150 million to continue fixing rural roads and bridges across our state!
False
just remembered that americans don’t have random old castles in the countryside that they can go and visit
Here is Van Orden again trying to take credit for WI state leaders rushing to pass a budget in order to lock in a higher match of federal Medicaid $ under the BBB. Except Van Orden played no role in that -- and he voted to cut $1 trillion from Medicaid. huffpost.com/entry/house-re…
Wisconsin is getting $1,000,000,000 a year plus up to Medicade per year. If any Wisconsinite loses coverage it will be due to incompetence, mismanagement, and malice by @GovEvers Seek mental health counseling.
It. Didn’t. Have. A. Billion. For. Badgercare. The bill actually would have taken it away if Gov. Evers and the legislature hadn’t beat Trump to signing the awful bill you voted for. Just the opposite. Are you just lying or seriously ignorant?
I declared 2025 the Year of the Kid in Wisconsin because I have always believed that what's best for our kids is what's best for our state. Our bipartisan budget invests in our kids at every age and at every stage.
I'm proud our bipartisan state budget invests $10 million into DATCP's Food Security Initiative! With this critical investment, we can continue supporting the great work done by organizations like The Neighbors' Place that are serving families and communities across our state.
BREAKING: FEMA removed dozens of Camp Mystic buildings from their 100-year flood map in Texas in response to appeals. apnews.com/article/texas-…
Thanks to our lawsuit, the Legislature will no longer be able to unconstitutionally obstruct and delay the important work of our state agencies, bringing state government to a standstill. This is an important victory for the people of Wisconsin.
The Wisconsin Supreme Court cleared the way for the state to institute a ban on conversion therapy. The court ruled that a Republican-controlled legislative committee’s rejection of a state agency rule that would ban the practice was unconstitutional. apnews.com/article/wiscon…
Two days after catastrophic floods roared through Central Texas, FEMA did not answer calls from thousands of survivors, documents show. nyti.ms/3GFCIhe
This is an outrage. ICE agents report they’re being told to ignore drug trafficking and child exploitation to chase quotas. The president promised Arizonans he'd go after the worst of the worst. He needs to keep his promise and prioritize criminals to keep our communities safe.…
