I never understood the whole "2000s fans are the new classic fans." On a surface level, yeah, both fans want stuff from the old era back and criticize new stuff, but 2000s fans actually appreciate when the core identity of Sonic appears in every era beyond superficial aesthetics

I really wish that, Sega had kept the philosophy of basing their 3d character models off of their current 2D artist looks for their them. Nowadays, they still use the same 20 years old models instead of actually evolving and experimenting like they used to.

Anytime they have them looking this beautiful I look at their models and sigh

でも、漫画が特技ですと鼻息も荒くソニックチームに配属されてみたら、自分以外のプランナーのほとんどが自分より絵が上手くて、配属初日の一瞬で鼻っ柱折られましたけどね。:D

小学生の頃から漫画少年で、就職活動のセガのエントリーシートも自由欄１ページ丸々漫画を直書きで提出しつつも、入社以降は仕事でゲーム一筋…のつもりが、 アメコミの監修をしたりSONIC COMIC描いたりコロコロコミックでもご縁があったり。 結局、お仕事でも漫画やってて人生面白いなと思います。:)

I know it’s just a joke and they don’t really mean anything by it but this kind of stuff does a lot more harm than good imo
