On a first reading basis, the PIAA board just went against the basketball steering committee’s suggestion of no shot clock in PA by a 22-9 vote to accept implementation of a shot clock for JV and varsity basketball for the 28-29 school year. Details in tomorrow’s @AltoonaMirrorPA
For those who have been following on the local page this week, Altoona native Dillon Ott was eliminated from the World Series of Poker Main Event in 69th place late last night after outlasting 9,665 other players and earned $135,000. More details will be in Monday’s Mirror.

SHOT CLOCK DENIED: From what I learned a majority of PIAA schools and majority of officials who voted, voted in favor of adding a shot clock. 😳
BREAKING: No shot clock in Pennsylvania. PIAA Basketball steering committee has voted down recommending adding a shot clock to the full board.
