I want melee combat to feel as weighty as possible, so I've begun working on a system that prevents blunt weapons from cleanly passing through enemies so the impact can be felt. Some polish is needed, but this video shows the difference between sword and mace impacts so far:

DIY gun-frame built for an anti-humanist sect. A frame, motors, artificial tendons suspending a firearm and keeping it away from clumsy human hands. A computer does the targeting. The user provides the ethical element.
