I understand how badly people want there to be a trap door to this debt clusterfuck handed down to us by boomers, but there just isn't one. The only thing resembling a trapdoor is hyperinflation.
Just do a debt jubilee already. Lots of people are saying "pay down the debt" — with what money? The tariffs don't come anywhere close to paying that. Wiping out all outstanding debt would help the average person WAY more than some piddly stimulus check.
there's no longer any difference between "therapy" and advice from a progressive woman on twitter. it's narcissus' mirror for them, that's why they love it. if you're a man, it's worthless: no one is interested in helping or protecting you. you are a cog. the ablative layer.
Every piece of bipartisan legislation that comes out of Washington is terrifying. Ironically, gridlock and dysfunction are the only things keeping the country together.
Reps. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) and Don Bacon (R-NE) introduce the ADL-supported “STOP HATE Act,” threatening $5M daily fines for social media platforms that don’t meet federal anti-Semitism enforcement standards.
"Although consumer prices weren't rising faster than 3% a year, land prices in Tokyo and Osaka nearly tripled, and bankers lent freely to property speculators. Property owners had it made; a Tokyo magazine ran a popular series profiling single women who stood to inherit a…
These feel like intimately related phenomena. Think if you fixed housing it would fix a lot of young people's despair but that would require prioritizing something besides pumping assets
I’m not hearing any updates on the Chinese stealing our PrEP soft power
“I’m unhappy because of my material circumstances.” “Erm, have you considered paying $200/hour for therapy, chud?” >Leftism in the big 2025
So funny how these people throw out material analysis the second it explains something they don't like
Giga-longhouse in action. >women advocate for mass third world immigration >women don’t like the immigrants, but won’t say anything >discrimination is fine now >native male drivers lose income
Uber will let women drivers and riders request to avoid being paired with men starting next month in the US
We've been in a state of stagflation for at least 3 1/2 years, but none of our policymakers want to admit it. Academic economists only question the data when the GOP is in power -- GOP responds that economists have a left bias (not totally wrong). We deserve decline.
Poll: Nearly 90% economists, 89 of 100, say they are concerned about the quality of official US economic data, including 41 saying very concerned
We're seeing one of the biggest short squeezes in decades for US stocks, and one of the highest levels of speculative trading (Goldman)
Can’t rent an apartment if you don’t have a job
Is CPI inflation set for another decline? The New Tenant Rent Index fell -9.3% YoY in Q2 2025, marking its largest drop on record. This follows a -2.2% YoY decline in Q1 2025. This index is viewed as a leading indicator for the CPI shelter component, which makes up ~30% of…
You’re even dismissing the fact that men are being dismissed lol
Men aren't being dismissed, you fucking homo.
> Congressman asks if Microsoft follows the “national security law” in China > Microsoft says they don’t have to follow that law > Look closely at the law >> Law requires you lie about your collusion with the communist party
Surreal exchange wherein @Microsoft's Brad Smith tells @RepCarlos that MSFT is above the law in China: Rep Gimenez: "Do you operate in China?" Mr. Smith: "Yes, we do" Gimenez: "Do you comply with this (2017 National Security) law?" Smith: "No, we do not." Gimenez: "How did…
