🧵 Four years ago today, a Benz driver struck and killed Xing Long Lin, a Chinese delivery worker riding a scooter in Astoria. DA Melinda Katz refused to acknowledge the devastating loss suffered by Lin’s family and declined to hold the killer accountable. Please remember him.

We'll see you tomorrow at 6 p.m. to remember the lives of both New Yorkers killed by a reckless driver over the weekend. We will not stand by while the City continues to let pedestrians and cyclists die or get seriously injured on Canal Street.
