A (Crip) Time and Space To Centre Blackness In Autism
Thanks to Jamaican Patois and Reggae music I am a thriving Autistic ♾️ ✨ 🇯🇲 It was an honour to be able to talk about my heritage as an asset to life with a disability on @1Xtra Live Talks with @RichieBrave Brave last night
Dyspraxia & Teeth-Brushing 🦷 🪥 I’m looking for recommendations of ergonomic-handled electric toothbrushes with a light vibration. Anyone know of any?

Another West Indian cultural parallel with Autistic traits*. Can repetitive social greetings be seen as a cultural form of echolalia? *I’m not saying all West Indians are autistic. Just that cultural ways of being can align with autistic traits + serve as a source of belonging

the underworld or the crossroads aren't necessarily places — they're a frequency. some people carry that frequency with them. they unearth what's hidden and unspoken just by existing as themselves. they don't operate within the surface level shared reality or "matrix" beyond…
I wonder how many Autistic people who experience menstruation and sensitivity to hormone fluctuations could benefit from menstrual education.
the luteal phase (especially towards the end of it) is when people experience noticeable hormonal fluctuations that aren't euphoric (like the follicular and ovulatory phases). PMS, PMDD - the luteal phase is when this happens. even people who don't experience those things can…
Are there any UK organisations out there supporting disabled people into entrepreneurship?
are there therapists who go on hikes with clients instead of sitting in a little room
