William “Bill” O'Dea
@BillOdeaJC
Hudson County Commissioner of District 2. 30 year public servant. Candidate for Jersey City Mayor 2025
Thank you to everyone who PACKED THE HOUSE at my 2025 Jersey City Mayoral Campaign announcement. I was overwhelmed by the support I received for my candidacy. Residents of Jersey City want to be heard and showed that they are in control of their next government leader.…

Why can’t you go online and look up the rent for any apartment in Jersey City? You can do it for property assessments, so how come we can’t for rents? I’ll change that as Mayor and give residents the tools to find an affordable place to live and hold landlords accountable.
"Let’s be honest: the push for an appointed school board isn’t about improving education. It’s about consolidating political power." jcitytimes.com/op-ed-mukherji…
The political machine wants to take control away from the people by moving to an appointed school board. This is an outrageous, undemocratic attack on our community, and as Mayor I’ll put a stop to it and preserve our right to choose our own elected leaders. Our City, Our Choice!

.@BillOdeaJC is pledging to fix the ongoing @PATHTrain woes if elected Jersey City mayor. "This is not just a transportation issue — it’s a public safety issue, a quality of life issue, & a development issue. We need real accountability & real solutions.” hudsoncountyview.com/odea-pledges-t…

@BillOdeaJC I joined the procession from the Shree Satyanarayan Dham temple on Kennedy Blvd through India Square celebrating the message of love and unity. We stopped along the route to see old friends and meet some new ones
Grateful to the JC Fire Department for their quick & courageous response to the fire on 4th Street last night. Your swift action helped prevent further damage, and we’re incredibly thankful that no lives were lost. Our community is safer because of your dedication & bravery.
Great crowd tonight at our first Affordable Housing Town Hall, with well over 100 residents here to listen to our plans for a more affordable city and to share their experiences and concerns. Thank you to everyone who came out!
