To add, I do still like those artistic liberties. I love the new Rebirth Spinosaurus for example and I'd definitely be happy to see some Frontier designs that lean more into the Jurassic aesthetic. But start wjth paleoaccuracy as the base. Work forwards, not backwards.
Jurassic Park took artistic liberties with the likes of Dilophosaurus, but it was also rigorous and well researched. Bringing paleoart to life IS the Jurassic Park artstyle.
