Kevin Clark: "When I look at Jerry Jones, I think of one thing: If the football Gods came down and said, 'Jerry, you get to win the next three Super Bowls... but the catch is, you can't do a press conference...' he looks at the football Gods and says, 'no deal.'"
The absolute best part of all Jerry Jones contract-related quotes is that he legitimately thinks he's blowing reporters minds when he says this stuff. Like everyone will rush back and write "We just learned that players might get hurt so it's good not to pay them!"
#Cowboys owner Jerry Jones randomly takes a shot at Micah Parsons, saying even if they sign him, it doesn’t mean they’ll have him, because he was hurt for 6 games last year (fact check: he only missed 4). He then also says they made Dak Prescott the richest player in football —…
That’s a great APY for the Packers on Tom
Deal is for four years and $88M, source adds.
Hilarious bit. 10/10 uniforms.
The #Steelers are bringing back their 1933 throwback uniforms for the 2025 season, this time with gold helmets. They last wore them in 1994.
New at @CBSSports: JC Tretter is resigning from the NFLPA. In an hourlong Sunday conversation, he clears up "mistruths" about his tenure and explains why he's leaving the union with the interim leadership role almost in his grasp cbssports.com/nfl/news/jc-tr…

WOW
Lloyd Howell announced his resignation as the NFLPA executive director.
Micah Parsons’ price tag just went up a few million! If only he was eligible for an extension earlier. But alas, we had to wait.
ESPN sources: Steelers star TJ Watt has become the highest-paid non-QB in NFL history for the second time in his illustrious career, reaching agreement today on a three-year, $123 million extension that includes $108M fully guaranteed at signing. The $41 million per year average…

Dion Dawkins lining up right on the line of scrimmage is extremely funny
Asked @BenjaminSolak this week, what’s something you want quantified? His response: tackle depth and jump in pass protection. Great one. So got to work with NGS data. Let’s take a look. Here’s the deepest and shallowest starting depth for tackles at time of snap.
Don’t get me wrong, the Commanders are gonna be good in 2025 — but just imagine how good they’d be in 2020.

Just stumbled on this play. Watch the angle of departure for Bullock. Didn't get a great jump on the throw but there's no fat on his transition and close. Stingley's recovery speed and ball tracking means BTJ never has a chance, but on a perfect throw, Bullock would be there.
Great take. Bullock's already got true centerfielder range and vision, which is increasingly rare in the two-high NFL. Key player for them.
Talked J.J. McCarthy yesterday on NFL Live with @DanGrazianoESPN. And hello, @BenjaminSolak.
Sauce Gardner’s 10.78% APY as a % of cap is the highest for a cornerback since Darrelle Revis in 2014. The CB market hasn’t seen deals like the ones Sauce and Stingley got in over a decade. Kudos to those two for pushing the envelope for the positional market.
2019: Xavien Howard is the highest paid cornerback at $15.1M APY 2025: Sauce Gardener is the highest paid cornerback in the NFL at double that number
Great to see ESPN's NFL reporters on campus in Bristol today. Congrats to new #ChiefsKingdom reporter @ByNateTaylor, who just joined us last week, and NFL writer @BenjaminSolak, coming up on his one-year ESPN anniversary, who both made their NFL Live debuts today.
@ByNateTaylor debut
