Calling the Tea hack a "hack" is honestly a stretch. They put everything in a publicly accessible DB. Not in the "they didn't encrypt" sense, in the "literally publicly accessible URL" sense. The "hack" is downloading the .jpg files from a publicly accessible URL.
That's great, but the same administration is trying to kill the colleges themselves by shutting down the Department of Education. If you really care about Olympic sports, focus on that instead. It is FAR more likely to cause problems than NIL and the House settlement.

As expected, the fact sheet’s proclamation that the EO prohibits “third party pay for play payments” isn’t accurate. It’s just the “policy of the executive branch” that such payments are improper. Still don’t understand why people hate college athletes getting paid so much.
My only immediate #take on the Trump college sports EO is that whatever assumptions any of might have about the enforceability or legality of various executive actions need to be updated. Stuff that "wasn't allowed" before continues to find ways to happen, after all.
