Community Interest Companies are inadequately regulated. They self-certify their community benefits on incorporation and in their annual reports in documents which seem never to be questioned. I would only deal with one whose work or directors I knew something of at first hand

This article misleadingly omits what Mrs Justice Yip actually discussed and decided. It is not good enough to simply characterise someone as "family" and then they're in. And in this specific case, Yip J in fact refused the application of the ex-wife to be allowed in.
Afghan migrants have brought as many as 22 "family members" to the UK after a judge declared "family" had no meaning and no legal or blood relationship was required. Just come over and bring the whole village. Judicial activism is absolutely out of control.

A few points on this - @barstandards are right to follow a recent ruling on the large extent of lawyers’ Article 10 freedom of expression, even extending to harsh criticism of judges and their decisions, and not take action here - @barstandards don’t regulate the GLP as an…

From hospital workers in Scotland to swimmers on Hampstead Heath women largely want to undress and change their clothes away from the sight of men they are not intimate with. The amount of legal obfuscation deployed in various places to ignore or deny this simple truth is amazing
