🎼Sir Malcolm Sargent—our Principal Conductor 1925–51 and guest to at least 1956—guided us through war and into a golden era. “Flash Harry” led Handel's 'Messiah' with “too smart a tempo for applause!” His spirit lives on as we return to St George’s Hall for 'Messiah' on Nov 15!
