Sunday was our last Cathedral Choir day of the academic year - a year packed with not only the daily sung Vespers and Masses, but so much fun and achievement across the choirs, very well done to all our young singers!

Thanks to @ArtFormsLeeds for these fabulous photos from the Leeds Youth Music Festival Celebration Concert at the @fdarena earlier this month. The Senior Boys, Girls and Scholars of the Cathedral Choir gave a stunning performance with @LeedsCLYO - a great evening!

Our Bradford and Huddersfield Catholic Youth Choirs had a fantastic pilgrimage to Lourdes and Paris, singing for many Masses and liturgies for the Diocese's pilgrims. A huge thank you to everyone who supported us and helped make this unforgettable experience possible.

Tomorrow is the last day of the academic year for our choirs, with sung Masses at the Cathedral and St Patrick's, Huddersfield. We'll be saying a fond farewell to a number of choristers departing following the end of Y13 following many years of commitment to the choirs!

KS2 took part in a singing showcase this week for their parents and EYFS & KS1. It was a celebration of the work they have done over the year with Mr Rodriguez. Everyone sang beautifully. 🎵 @bcw_cat @DioecesisLoiden @DOLMusic

It's our Diocesan Girls Choirs Festival tomorrow! The Bradford, Cathedral and Huddersfield Senior Girls Choirs are joined by the Cathedral Junior Girls to sing for the 11am Mass, and in the afternoon all of our junior choirs join us for a wonderful musical celebration at 2.30pm.

Our North Yorkshire choirs enjoyed a fabulous concert yesterday in partnership with @sjfchs, bringing @theBWCAT primary pupils to the chapel and school. They sang with the SJF Junior Choir and performed beautifully!

We're looking forward to the pilgrimage and it was lovely working with the students!

This week's sung Masses and vespers at Leeds Cathedral - tomorrow @LeedsIOF opens with a recital by the Diocesan Director of Music Benjamin Saunders and soprano Louise Wayman. Elsewhere, our choirs are singing Mass today in Huddersfield, Ripon and Wakefield.

This week's sung Masses and vespers at Leeds Cathedral, including Mass of the Holy Spirit on Tuesday evening to mark the start of the conclave the following day. Today, Bradford Catholic Girls Choir, Huddersfield Boys Choir and Skipton Catholic Junior Choir are also singing Mass.

Yesterday evening Bishop Marcus celebrated a Solemn Requiem Mass for His Holiness Pope Francis at the cathedral. The Senior Boys, Senior Girls, Schools Scholars and Choral Scholars sang Duruflé's setting of the Requiem.
