Honoured to meet the incredible @sonsareliveson in Parliament today. He received a double lung transplant in 2023 - and now shares his powerful story to inspire others to join the NHS Organ Donor Register. Over 8,000 people, including 276 children, are still waiting.

Twenty years on from the 7/7 attacks, we remember all those whose lives were lost and those whose lives were changed forever. We honour the bravery of the first responders, and the strength of the survivors. Those who try to divide us will always fail.

On this day in 1960, the founder of the NHS, Nye Bevan died. His memorial, which is in Ebbw Vale, comprises 4 blocks of stone - the largest represents Bevan, the others the 3 towns in his constituency. The stones sit on the spot where Bevan regularly addressed his constituents.
