My sister Mary was so proud of St Mary’s. She loved that college . Yet they have never acknowledged her . She was murdered by the Provisional IRA . Mary was a 1st Class Honours student. Now this same college is hosting Jim McVeighs book , a former IRA member.

It saddens me that St Mary’s teacher training college hosts book launches from PIRA members, when one of their own , former , beautiful, gentle , 1st class honours students, was murdered by that very organisation as she walked home from mass.

Martin McGuinness was a freedom fighter, a political prisoner, he was a negotiator, a peacemaker, a healer. He had a passion for politics but was also very spiritual, and interested in nature. He was hugely interested in people.
If Ozzy could have scripted his finale from this planet, he’d have chosen to be performing live back in his hometown, with his old band, supported backstage by Sharon and their children. It was the perfect ending to an incredible career, and an incredible life. ❤️
