It's so difficult to observe pain and not be able to do anything about it. A helpless bystander. Standing by is not an option but are there any other options? This question haunts me. Sometimes, I feel that my attempts to help others are actually attempts to help myself.

When people who are famous/respected keep joking about weight-loss jabs, as if they are trendy as opposed to medications for people who have a physical illness, then one has to wonder whether they are ignorant (at best) or cruel. Cruel people don't respond to awareness-raising.
