Traditionalists are essentially a rightwing analogue to Trotskyites. They claim to be the only authentic exemplar of the "true right" while attacking every concordant regime that has ever existed as compromised, and never having come anywhere near power themselves.
The thing about the Traditionalists (capital T) is that everything they say about “the world of Tradition” is ahistorical shit they just made up. It’s their shared vision of “the way things should be” and they pretend it once existed
