Sweary. He/Him. #RevolutionaryDadJokeCaucus. May contain traces of #mcfc. Literal granddad.
Exciting wee announcement from me. Been in discussions about this for ages with the legends at @MandemMeetup and it is finally happening! A safe, supportive space, (alcohol / drug free) for guitar-botherers to meet, chat & maybe make some new mates without bothering anyone else!

This was a speech given by a Labour minister only two months ago, already months into the siege, showering praise on Israel and boasting about U.K. support. The particular role this Labour government has played in enabling the genocide can’t be forgotten.
📢 MARIA EAGLE, UK Minister for Defence Procurement and Industry, gave a keynote speech celebrating the RAF's surveillance flights over Gaza which has provided key intelligence to Israel to enact their genocide in Gaza.
I’m really not sure what are the most appropriate words with which to send Ozzy into the afterlife, but I reckon thanks for the music and the laughs probably covers most of it.
Did you know the most prolific rapist in Britain raped men not women? You might not know this because relative to stories centred on women as victims the crimes of Reynhard Sinega got relatively little coverage or discussion. It seems we really struggle to think about the…
If you really don't want to starve kids because you think Khamas is stealing them and selling it. Then flood the place with food. No child would starve and Khamas wouldn't have any customers.
Rarely has anyone on #UniversityChallenge ever impressed me quite as much as Graham from SOAS on the punk rock music round tonight. Respect, brother.
The Founding Fathers, who rebelled against British colonial oppression through armed resistance and the Declaration of Independence, would likely view Israeli actions—such as military incursions, forced displacements, and blockades causing starvation—as tyrannical occupation.…
In 2026, as the world's press step carefully over the blood-stained rubble of Gaza's killing grounds we, the British govt, will remind the world how we issued strongly worded statements very strongly. On one occasion we deplored.
He's right. It's not the solution. We need to fundamentally overhaul systems of privatised capital & financial exploitation which allow a few individuals to become eye-wateringly rich at everyone else's expense. But until then, taxing them a little more is better than nothing.
If your solution to everything is "We just need to tax the rich a little more", then you don't have a solution that makes any sense. Even in Marxist terms, that idea makes no sense, never mind in actual, real terms.
I think I'm soon to be proscribed as a terrorist group or something

Can’t be arsed going to bed so find myself watching an episode of Dogs Behaving Very Badly in which Graham meets a mad duchess who lives in a castle with a hairy dachshund who clucks like a chicken. Am considering the possibility that I’m hallucinating.
