I don’t see why it is silly though? Every college got the SAME chance at a 2 recruiting classes to retool right? Vandy lost and gained the same amount as TN and anyone else
I mean I think it's fair to stop at the restart after Covid. and counting Vandy's title defense as '21 equal to all others seems silly they got a whole extra recruiting class to retool.
Saying you cannot count Vandy winning a National Championship in 2019 and then making it to CWS Finals in 2021 is ridiculous. Season was cancelled in 2020. Vols, Vandy, anyone could have won. I don’t get your 2 recruiting classes remark. Did TN not have 2 as well??
You can’t count the 2019/2021 Vanderbilt teams when they had 18 extra games to see their team, which was 13-5/2-4 away even before SEC in 2020, with a full year of development and two full recruiting classes to come in for 2021. That situation is an anomaly and doesn’t apply.
If you are referencing NIL for some reason and saying college sports don’t count before 2022 that means The Vols have 1 NCAA championship and we can now take away your 19 others! Hank Lauricella was a TN legend btw, so taking that away would be a crime. Let us all know please.
