What the hell, I can’t view certain profiles that aren’t even pornography now because of this age verification shite?! I’m 31 years old! This is ridiculous!
The UK Online Safety Act means subreddits like /r/cider, the support forum /r/sexualassault, and /r/stopsmoking are now blocked for people under 18. Thank you @Jess4Lowestoft for protecting our CHILDREN from these sick freaks
Got a two course lunch, played bingo and dominoes and baked a cake with a bunch of mostly old people today after my neighbour suggested I go to a community meal near my house. Is this what retirement feels like? If so, I’d like to officially retire now, please!

I think rather than having age verification which allows the state to keep tabs on the pornography adults watch, I think parents should take a level of responsibility for what their kids get up to online and have conversations about online safety!
Well done to everyone who campaigned to ensure age verification for pornography was in the Online Safety Act! Today it comes into force and while no doubt there will be some who get around it, it means young kids in particular won’t be stumbling on violent and harmful porn.
Remember that brief period where YouTubers were trying to sell you a square inch of land through a company who said buying it would make you legally a Lord or Lady of Scotland?
Absolutely one of the best children’s films of its time, it almost destroyed Disney completely iirc!
Ok I’m not joking when I say that this movie is legitimately a cinematic masterpiece
Everyone knows Britannia Hotels are absolute shitholes- stop lying!
This I can’t believe. The upscale Britannia Hotel in swanky Canary Wharf with its en-suite bathroom , TV and spectacular views of the Thames have closed the door to residents and replaced them with 300 young male Channel migrants. I know a couple who are paying a small fortune…
I worked at Home Bargains in 2022 when Ukraine was getting attacked and it was common for people to come in to fill trollies full of food and supplies to send as aid. The absolute shame of this country that, with different skin colour, the mass outrage suddenly isn’t there.

you are 53 years old you haven't got a fucking clue about young people
This working from home SHIT has to stop, it’s destroying mental health for millions of young people, and forcing many others to spend far more on housing just for the extra office space. It may suit middle class, middle aged, middle management, it does not suit most young people.
She’s so… liberal and I don’t mean that as a compliment! She’s wrapped up a fairly reactionary point in nice, fluffy language. She’s like a female Keir Starmer.
🚨 EXCLUSIVE | Green leader candidate Ellie Chowns PRAISED Supreme Court ruling that gutted trans rights. Chowns welcomed the ruling, saying its critics "do not speak for all trans people". She called for "open conversation" about "contested issue" of trans rights. Video👇
This is just so disgusting and asocial?? Boomers really are a nasty, selfish bunch of people aren’t they? I suppose this is what happens when your entire generation is told there’s no such thing as society…
My sister’s friend lives in Bromley and she just told me that people who live there have “Mosquito Alarms” which are supposed to deter young people from loitering around their homes. She’s 27 but she can still hear them and it drives her insane since old people just leave them on
I managed to have a great day at Pride, I spent a grand total of £12.10 and I came home with a huge box of veggie pakoras from the live music event I went to! 😍
The gen z stare. The millennial pause. Instead let's talk about the boomer inappropriate personal question
Let’s not forget though that the Lib Dems, alongside the Tories, were the architects of this appalling system during the coalition. The Lib Dems are the reason why we are where we’re at. They should apologise and then disband themselves in shame and disgust.
Lib Dem Steve Darling and member of the Work and Pensions Committee, Steve Darling, took Liz Kendall to task on why she didn't consult with disabled people ahead of the PIP cuts #TakingThePIP
As a youth worker, 16 and 17 year olds are far more aware of the world than people think. If they want to vote, there’s no issue with that. The same people whining about it are probably the same people who are Boomers that think everything they see on Facebook is true. 😂
