Lots of classic alpine climbs missing from my palmares but I do remember how lovely today's climb of the Cormet de Roseland was. Only just cleared of snow on a beautiful day. Held up on the decent by a Porsche 911 😁 and my 1st ever Tartiflette in Bourg San Maurice 😋
That is a poorly conceived dual use path not fit for purpose. not a floating bus stop. Stop gaslighting.
So confident in his ignorance 🤦🏻♂️ That's not what the HWC says at all
Every single cyclist there broke the law, you must STOP at zebra crossings if a pedestrian is waiting to cross. Every one of them should be fined and if found to be a repeat offender have their bike impounded and crushed. Road safety and all that.
Heads up Bosch e-bike owners: the latest Flow app update adds a new "Battery Lock" feature so you can digitally lock your battery when you turn off your bike. If the battery is stolen while locked, it cannot be used in any other bike, making it useless to thieves!
This thread started with bus stop bypasses, now it's the non existent "danger" of contraflow cycle streets that like bsb's have operated in Europe for decades without problems. It's always "well they must be dangerous" without considering the facts. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Ah good. At a time when the Government are doing everything they can to encourage disabled people back into work, here's Kirsty calling for an end to work from home. More quality 'I'm alright Jack' crap from someone whose biggest concern is whether she should have red or white.
Car insurance went up 10% last year to £281. We didn't bother switching. It's dropped to £218 this year. Perhaps, like Wales, the fact I live in and am surrounded by 20mph default London boroughs had made a difference? 🤔
The lack of compassion vehicular cyclists like Stops have for fellow cyclists and ALL pedestrians is staggering. "Buses aren't killing cyclists" 3 out of the 10 killed in London in 2024. They didn't get a chance to "wait behind a bus" Peds/cyclists ksi's over 10years St Hill
Stops is having such a tantrum about the latest short stretch of safe cycling infrastructure to be installed on a dangerous A road in South London. The silly old fool had obviously got himself excited that he’d finally found a way to stop cycle lanes being built 🤭
Found: set of keys on Cycleway 1 - junction with Downham Road Hackney. Please share - looks like it includes bike locks, house keys & work keys. No ID. Contact me if they are your with your Tesco Clubcard Number
Just weeks into new right wing ownership of The Observer and they’re already getting the shlt kicked out of them on social media and deleting racist tweets.
There are still some men who think because they are comfortable cycling with buses on A roads that everybody else should be too including elderly and disabled, women and children. Thankfully we have moved on from this outdated view and are now making cycling inclusive.
Personally, as a cyclist, I would be happy to continue to use the bus lane, rather than have a dedicated 2-way track, but would feel safer if the bus lane was widened at bus stops so that cycles could pass stopped-buses on the right whilst staying in the bus lane.
Widened bus lanes should do it. I'm alright Jack 🤦🏻♂️

This is the crap cyclists have put up with ATM. I was pretty much in primary position here on duelled section but still got squeezed. (Northbound Streatham Hill) Would any parent let their children ride here? youtube.com/clip/Ugkx6dDks…

x.com/PhillTulse/sta… A 78 year old lady wasn't even safe in her own house from cars. Get a grip on reality
Woman killed after driver crashes into her house in Coventry. Horrific bbc.com/news/articles/…
He needs some Bikeability lessons 🤦🏻♂️ Don't see any congestion there either 🤔
This is probably the most cringeworthy anti-cycling political video I have seen. Vote Tory for more cars, more pollution and more road casualties.
28 dead people is acceptable collateral damage to Paul and he accused others of denying reality 🤦🏻♂️
We're a city 1m large with what must be hundreds of thousands of vehicles in motion every hour of every day & you've called an emergency because 28 people die on the roads? Are you for real?
Let’s take a look at who the type of men storming migrant hotels to “protect our children” really are… English Defence League (EDL) member Peter Gillett was sentenced to 18 years for a catalogue of sex crimes. His victims included two young girls and a boy.
The Government will use public funding to infill a West Yorkshire railway tunnel less than four years after £7.2million was spent making the structure safe for future reuse. Make this make sense! bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…
