Aggie Mediocrity
@AggieMediocrity
This is my vote. Aggies went over a decade of telling everybody the reason they were mediocre is how tough the SEC is from top to bottom. Then year 1 in the SEC, they completely changed their narrative simply because Texas was winning.
Def the goalpost moving as FB season went along after years of hyping up the “BIG BAD SEC”
I'm betting all the cheaters pre-NIL well tell on themselves this week. First up is Alabama. Next will be Georgia and LSU. The poors that could cheat under the old system will cry about "fairness." Too bad for them they don't understand EOs aren't law or enforceable.
I feel like a lot of people do not know how banged up Texas was on offense last year. RB1 injured the entire season Two of the top 3 WRs were injured most of the year Ewers played with torn oblique Being healthy > any QB debate.
For years, we took heat for our stance that Quinn Ewers wasn't great. But if we were right, then Texas fans have optimism on order for 25. Keep in mind, if Texas scored 25 points in every game, they go undefeated last year with a title. Let's get into the numbers. 🧵
"Trillion dollar NIL roster" Do Aggies think this was a 1 year thing? The roster is getting more talented every year with the portal and recruiting. You know Texas is bringing in the #1 recruiting class right?
Last year was your chance bud. Trillion dollar NIL roster, cupcake first year schedule from your butt buddy Greg Sankey. It’s over
The amount of cope about Texas football is something. In the last 2 years Texas has won the Big 12, made the SEC championship game, won 2 playoff games, and made the final 4 of the playoffs in both years. The roster is getting more talented. What do you think is coming next?
There is nothing funnier than cheaters like Georgia crying foul. Funny how Texas can now flex their muscles because buying recruits is now legalized. Schools like Georgia, A&M, and LSU hate the NIL era because they could just cheat under the old system.
We tried to warn y’all
Texas has a top 5 recruiting class coming in, top 5 transfer class coming in, and a lot of its best players returning. Texas was ranked anywhere between 15-20 last preseason which was fair based on talent. They should probably be ranked #1 next preseason.
SCOOP: Some massive news for @TexasBaseball, as I’m told RHP Ruger Riojas, LHP Luke Harrison and RHP Max Grubbs will all opt out of the upcoming #MLBDraft and return to Austin for another season with the #Horns. Texas should be one of the title favorites in 2026. #HookEm #SEC
This is murder
I've developed a new twitter award! Only scores in sports that Texas A&M competes in are included. Congrats to the Fighting Texas Aggies on a top 10 finish in their very own Cup! The Texas Longhorns take 1st but I'm sure the Aggies are happy to see an in state school win it!
This was likely the plan in year 1 but hard to turn over the roster when Schloss was still playing at the CWS. Late start to the portal. This is why everyone should be afraid. Schloss won the SEC in year 1 with a roster that will be by far his least talented at Texas.
This is what is called "turning over the roster"...for a second year Only six players from the David Pierce era will likely see their names on the 2026 Texas Baseball Roster, most of them being pitchers 𝗟𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 14 - 2025 (so far) 13 - 2024
In the last 2 days, I've seen Aggies celebrate their baseball series win over LSU after LSU won a national title. I've also seen them celebrate a softball win over Texas after Texas won the national title. No words other than Aggie going full Aggie.
Is there anything more embarrassing than this? Texas just won the national title and this is all he has. Not to mention, Texas didn't throw their ace in that SEC tournament game who dominated the postseason.
Seven weeks ago tu was run ruled by @AggieSoftball in the @SEC tournament. 👍🏻
Texas will be ranked in the top 5 of the preseason polls in 5 out of 6 major sports next year. Football Baseball Volleyball Softball Women's basketball What Del Conte is building at Texas is incredible.
Aggies calling the Directors Cup fake for their own school to post this could not better sum up their stupidity.
With 11 top 20 NCAA finishes - the Aggies placed 1⃣5⃣th in the @LDirectorsCup standings! 👏 📰 aggi.es/43ZL9Nl #GigEm | #LDC25
I get it's Aggies but their takes on Schloss are going to end up with some of the best material on twitter. Schloss won the SEC in year 1 with an OK roster. Year 2 he has the #3 recruiting class and #4 portal class. I know they're stupid but they don't know what's coming.
Have you ever met a fanbase that talks like this when they go 1-6 against Texas in the big 3 sports year 1 of the SEC? Its actually hilarious how dumb they are.
It’s been a year since this bum left, and it’s a good thing he did. Coaches that lose 3 times to their own school’s satellite campus (AT HOME) aren’t ideal
Does Texas have the most underrated RB room in the country? Wisner 1064 yards rushing last season Baxter 659 yards rushing as a freshman Gibson 377 yards rushing as a freshman Had Baxter not been injured people would be talking about this being the best RB room in the country.
Which banger did you enjoy most from Aggies this year? *Directors' Cup is fake *Texas baseball won the SEC because of an easy road schedule *Texas football made the SEC champ game because of an easy schedule *Softball "doesn't matter" after weeks of mattering when A&M was #1
Does anybody find the irony in A&M fans calling a real award “fake” while their school hands out fake plaques to coaches for national championships? Sometimes you can only laugh at how incredibly stupid Aggies are.
Don’t let them question the validity of the award or say it doesn’t mean anything.
