How does one “remain committed to defending these priorities” after casting a vote to defund those same “priorities”? There was no commitment, @RepJenKiggans. You voted explicitly to deprioritize 300,000 Virginians who rely on Medicaid and SNAP.
It doesn't strengthen Medicaid and SNAP. It creates more bureaucracy -- which, by the way, will cost more -- for those who need it. That so-called "tax relief" won't even cover the cost of an emergency room visit, assuming the closest one hasn't been shut down!
